What is included in the rental price?

Rental price includes delivery, pickup, and year-round service. Optional add-ons such as Cleaning Coverage and Damage Control can be selected at checkout for additional protection.

Can I rent a fridge if I live off campus?

Rentals are not currently offered to off-campus students.

How big is my unit?

For product specifications, please refer to the indiviudal product page for your school. Your unit will depend on what your school has chosen.

Can I place an order without knowing my dorm room or residence?

You are able to place your MicroFridge order without listing your room or residence. Please note, this information will be needed prior to delivery. Contact customer support with your order details once you have that information available.

When will my fridge be delivered?

All orders placed 2 business days before your school’s move-in date will be delivered prior to move-in. Units purchased after the move-in date will generally be delivered within 1 week of purchase. Depending on your school, orders will be delivered directly to your dorm room or to a centralized campus location for pickup. Please refer to your school’s product page for more details.

I am moving out early or leaving school. What should I do?

Contact our customer support team and we can get a pickup scheduled for you.

What happens if I move rooms during the year?

Contact our customer support team and we will update your records.

What happens if my fridge stops working during the year?

Your MicroFridge includes year-round service. We will help you troubleshoot the issue. If a new unit is needed, we will set up a swap out to get you a functioning unit.

What does the damage fee protect me from?

The damage fee is designed to protect you from any accidental damage that may occur to your unit throughout the semester. If you opt in, you will not be charged any additional damage fees.

What is your refund policy?

Orders canceled prior to delivery will be refunded in full. Orders canceled within 30 days of delivery will be charged a $50 cancellation fee. Orders canceled after 30 days will not be eligible for a refund.

What should I do when the end of my rental term approaches?

You will receive an email with instructions on how to prepare your unit for pickup.

Defrost and Dry

If your freezer has frost, let it sit unplugged with the door open until the ice melts (don’t chip at it!). Catch the water in a towel and drain it all out.

Clean Fridge

Wipe the inside with warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry with a towel. Remove stickers and magnets, pop the racks back in place, and leave the door open to let fresh air in.
